Our Story
Linda began her career as a jeweler in college at the University of Illinois, Urbana, where she studied art and earned a degree in Metalsmithing. That sparked a life long desire to master the craft of Goldsmithing. Her interest in sharing the knowledge she gained led her to develop the jewelry program for Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she taught for more than a decade while still creating her bespoke jewelry line. For over forty years, Linda has honed her skills working in the jewelry industry creating meaningful custom jewelry pieces for her clients. The artistry of her traditional and modern techniques in conjunction with her meticulous craftsmanship transforms the finest materials into timeless heirlooms.
Our Mission
We are a company dedicated to creating timeless pieces using the finest materials which are ethically sourced from around the world. Our goal is to partner with our clients to add artistry, meaning and enduring beauty to our jewelry and develop lasting relationships through the creative process. In today’s society of fast fashion and instant gratification, fine jewelry is still something people we cherish and pass on from generation to generation. We strive to create this experience for each of our clients. We feel honored to be able to celebrate some of the most important occasions in our clients lives by creating lasting objects of adornment.
Our Materials
In our studio we use recycled metals, whether we melt down a customer’s gold to add to a newly designed piece, or we purchase recycled gold from our sources that refine scrap precious metals into clean casting grain. We collect all of the tiny bits of metal and dust from the bench where jewelry pieces are sanded and shaped, and we collect the floor sweeps and sandpaper used in the process which are sent to the refiner for recycling. Nothing is overlooked! Most of the gold in the U.S. is recycled from many sources including antique jewelry pieces and gold used in circuit boards in the electronics industry.
